Schoolbelt Story (part 2) -All Within Reach

After 26 years of teaching, I've realized just how much teachers need within their reach in order to be prepared and make the most of every instructional minute. I've tried everything from a tool belt to an apron, and everything in between, but every option was either too bulky, flimsy, or not a fit for school.

Late night sketches, sloppy sewing, the cycle of trial and error, honest feedback, and the assistance of my brother (a talented upholsterer) brought the first Schoolbelt prototype to life.  Enthusiastic feedback from family and friends  encouraged me to bring the Schoolbelt to market. 

Launching a business is a lot like learning a new language. Fortunately, the challenge gave me something positive and meaningful to focus on during the pandemic shutdown. One year later, my Schoolbelt design is patent pending and manufactured right here in the USA!

I hope to inspire my students and anyone with a vision and a window of opportunity. Life is short. Don't let fear or doubt hold you back! Your dreams are ALL WITHIN REACH!
